A dog's story

Eight years ago then i was only ten years a wonderful thing happened to me which i remember it until now...
It was an usual autumn day. A bit cloudy, a a bit sunny and not too cold. I was walking with my parents to the bread shop. It was not necessary for us to go here but since it was a weekend we thought we'll go for a walk. Once we entered the shop we saw a strange girl was sitting on the counter eating sweets and talking to the assistant. A minute later she started to shout at people. Everyone in the shop couldn't understand what is happening. The girl looked all crazy. She had chocolate stains on her face and on her clothes. Nobody knew what to do. But one thing was for sure that this girls has some kind of mental illness. An old lady called the ambulance and they took her way. Well we finished shopping and while walking outside we noticed a puppy with a rope on his neck. It was like a leash or something but looked like a rope. A woman walking by said it was that girl's dog. My parents were thinking to go home but i stopped them and started to cry that we must take that puppy to our home. It's alone and we can't leave it like this! I don't know why but it didn't take a lot of time and they agreed to take it home! There was a problem that we already had one small dog and the flat where we lived in was small. So we decided to give away puppy to grandparents. They had a big house with a lot of free land. Again the easily agreed to take the puppy. And so the puppy(actually it's not a puppy anymore) still lives here and sometimes i visit it :)
